Brings back fond memories and the song &quot;White Bird&quot; by &#39;It&#39;s A Beautiful Day&#39; just popped into my head. I wish I still had all my fringe vests and belts. I was big on those Victorian/ Rennaisance cinch lace up boots and belts. Perhaps that is why I am so into Renn and Fairy fests to this day!<br /><br />Thanks for the heads up on some history and a reminder where to look. I do have a few books on the posters and album cover art. I wish I had some of the posters I bought as a teen. The original SF hippies had a mock funeral for the hippy movement in 1967 because of the media attention and the influx of wannabes. After the funeral many of the original hippies left - some to California&#39;s North Coast and others to the wind.<br /><br />Check out YouTupe for Quicksilver Messenger Service (with John Cipollina), The Jefferson Airplane or early Grateful Dead.
