Wow, I got exhausted and starving just reading this:) I'd like a dozen each of every variety of cinnamon roll!hehe I've never been to Sesame Place, but one of my fondest memories with my daughter is going to Disneyland in California one February. Years ago with my step kids, we went to the Florida Disney World and experienced the heat and long lines. So this time around, we tried a different strategy and found February in Calif. was the perfect time to go. No lines! Running from one ride to the next:) And of course, it was really fun with my daughter as a teen-ager when we visited Disneyland Paris. I'll never forget the Indiana Jones ride. We hopped on and a Frenchman's voice came over the mic system: Howdy Y'all. WE thought we'd die laughing:)

Wow, I remember Sesame Place seems like eons ago, in another life. I think my boys wanted to go there more than Disney World, hah!

I never knew about the Enchanted Forest until it was no more. Driving past the closed park one day I thought it looked like a little wonderland. We did not live on that side of the world. Wish it still existed!

It's a shame Sesame Place didn't keep it's focus on the toddler's but morphed into an adult type amusement park. there are plentyof them around and little one's like Aowyn need a calmer paced place to explore.
I'll keep your advice/tips in mind for the day i have grandkids!!!

Do you remember "The Enchanted Forest" out in Ellicott City? That was anice place for little ones--I remember going as a kid and then taking Julie when she was little. Alot of the old rides are at a farm near Columbia as displays. The old castle entrance is part of a shopping center now...
